Fishing and Boating

El Dorado County has many lakes, streams and rivers to fish, boat or simply to enjoy. Jenkinson Lake is approximately 4 miles from Pony Express Trail on Sly Park Rd. Many lakes and rivers are planted with rainbow trout yearly. For fishing enthusiasts eager to catch a wild German Brown, try Gerle Creek. For local fishing reports and fishing tips, visit Ken's Custom Tackle.
